About the translations and sources:

As always, there are two official sources of information: the Genesis Series novels (i.e. Kyoukaisen Novels), and the anime’s official website. In particular, glossaries and character profiles are annotated differently in the novels and in the site (varying levels of information). Since this is primarily aimed at the anime-viewing crowd, this will use the anime site’s information as the main source, with additional info from other sources such as the novel, lots of Horizon Wikis, etc. for a better picture.

The “official” terms will use The Anime Network’s subtitles as the basis since this site is mainly anime-centric. Alternate translations of terms (better sounding/more sensible) will follow the “official” ones. Some terms are of my own wording; these will be indicated by an asterisk (*). This either because the term hasn’t been noted by the official English subtitles, or I just haven’t updated.
